Summer Training 2013

This year swimming will be reduced to two sessions a week over the six-week period of the school holidays. There will be no swimming for Minnows and Piranhas after their last lesson on the 29th June. They will resume normal training when the schools go back in mid-August.

Dolphins and Sharks can train for one-hour a week during the first hour of either the Tuesday or Thursday night session. All senior club swimmers can attend both sessions if they wish. I would encourage swimmers to take a break at some point to ensure that they are rested before the full training programme returns after the holidays.

The sessions are as follows:

TUESDAY NIGHT – 6pm till 8pm

THURSDAY NIGHT – 6pm till 8pm

Training will return to normal on Tuesday 13th August.

Summer 2013 Pool Party information

Prior to the summer break we are holding a pool party for all the clubs swimmers on Thursday 27th June between 6pm and 9pm.

This means that if you normally swim on a Thursday, your times will be different and, if you don’t, you are welcome according to the squad times below:-

Minnows, Piranhas & Dolphins 6pm – 7pm (if your child is under 8 year of age, there needs to be an adult in the water supervising them)

Sharks & Juniors 7pm – 8pm

Intermediate, Intermediate Plus and Seniors 8pm – 9pm.

Normal squad swimming will continue on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th as previously intimated.
